Relational Database

It is based on the Relational Model of data.

The objects in the relational databases are structured. Data are stored as rows and columns in a table linked to rows in another tables. Most of the tables are related to each other with primary and foreign keys thus providing Referential Integrity among the objects.

Examples : Oracle, SQL Server, MySql, PostGreSQL
